Smyth and Bahrdt Consultants specialises in consultancy, policy development, research, workshop facilitation and cross-cultural education projects relating to Indigenous peoples' rights, use, knowledge and management of Australia's environments and natural resources. Over the last 20 years, projects undertaken by our Principal Consultant, Dr Dermot Smyth, have contributed to the development of policies and programs to recognise and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' role in national park and marine park management, Indigenous Protected Areas, fisheries management, sea country planning and natural resource management.
